At the start of the day, we were at 6,004 words. I got us to 6,853, and then Geoff spaced out and wrote almost another 2,000 words. We’re sitting pretty right now, and if we can keep this sizable lead that we have, we’ll be in good shape by the end of June. We may even have some time to edit.

Well, I got us caught up to where we were supposed to be yesterday. Like any good relationship, I blame my partner

So, I’m taking my sweet-ass time editing this one scene, and I’m sure that Geoff is ready to kill me by now. There are only 918 words left that I have to make conform to the adjoining scenes, and I’d like to delete as few as possible, because I hate digging myself into a hole. I’m gonna try to get a little bit more done before I go to bed, and I hope to not go too far below the 5K mark.

I decided to update this once I got over our word-goal for the day (which was 4,002). 4,096 is also a good number to stop on because it is a computery number. I have some more writing to do, and a little bit of editing, but I promise that I won’t dip below 4,002 before I go to bed. In fact, I hope to be closer to 4,200. Geoff, you will not believe the havoc that I am currently wreaking on our script.
