…and beware WordPress 2.05

Yeah, even though I probably messed something up, or didn’t configure something properly; I’m avoiding version 2.05 for the time being. Thanks to version 2.04 and a backup of my database before the ill-fated upgrade, I’m back.

Thankfully.

There is a fix (that doesn’t work for me) that might solve some upgrade issues. It takes the form of a plugin for WP and can be found here.

    Would you be willing to test out a beta version of 2.0.6 to see if the problems have been resolved? You can install it in a subdirectory so as to not mess up your main blog (e.g. http://ben.subparcitizens.net/test/).

    Please contact me via e-mail if you’d be willing to help fix this problem. I want WP 2.0.6 to have maximum compatibility, but I lack direct access to any of the servers affected by the changes in 2.0.5
